How to read a supplement label before ordering.

A front label is marketing. The Supplement Facts panel and warnings are where the decision begins.

Start with serving size

Ingredient amounts are usually listed per serving, not necessarily per capsule. Compare serving size with the directions and servings per container.

Read every ingredient line

Look for active ingredients, blends, caffeine sources, botanicals, vitamins, minerals and “other ingredients” such as capsule materials or fillers.

Check overlap

Compare the label with coffee, energy drinks, pre-workouts, multivitamins and other supplements. Overlap can increase total exposure.

Read warnings slowly

Age restrictions, pregnancy and nursing warnings, medication interactions and medical-condition cautions should never be treated as fine print.

Verify the package on arrival

Compare the bottle with the listing, inspect the seal, lot and expiration date, and contact the merchant if anything is missing or different.

Save a screenshot of the product listing at checkout. It gives you a clear reference when the order arrives.
